The Reason Why Travel Is So Important Today
Transport is something that all of us will use at some point in our lives. Whether it is walking, cycling, catching a bus or driving a car we all need to travel to get us to a certain place. In today’s world we are becoming more aware of the effects of transport on the environment.
Aeroplanes provide so much luxury and comfort today, than when they were first created. A lot of the time it depends on how much money you have. If you are taking a business trip then you might want to fly business class which is far more superior than standard prices. If you have a lot of money then you might want to use first class which provides a superior amount of luxury. People staying in first class will also benefit from a bed to sleep on and food cooked for them.
When someone decides to leave the luxuries of their home and visit other locations there is usually a reason for it. Some people want to go somewhere sunny and tropical for a holiday. It is a good chance to get away from the stress of every day life and spend time with the family. Third world Countries would be in much worse conditions because they would not be able to sell gold or other precious gems to different Countries. Although people in third world Countries are exploited enough as it is, without transport they would probably be in much worse conditions. In other ways this world would probably be a lot better off.
We would not have as many illnesses. Illnesses like swine flu would not be able to move as quickly and would probably remain in one particular area of the world. The terrorist activity would probably be less because there would be little chance of people entering different Countries. Therefore we would probably be much safer.
The postal system is also important and without transport then people would not be able to send post. This is especially important for business correspondence and communicating with other businesses. Developing Countries with limited transport find it difficult to make money since it is not as easy to trade with these Countries. For a Country to be profitable then they need to have a good transport system in place so that they can easily trade with one Country or another.
