The Broken Bow Cabins

Look no further than Broken Bow Lake, Hochatown and the Beavers Bend State Park area, nestled between the Ouachita and Kiamichi mountains of Southeastern Oklahoma – just across the Red River from Texas. For your next vacation, consider renting one of the many cabins nestled in pine forests, which offer mountain and lake views. Located only three hours from Dallas, Texas, the area is serene and peaceful, with many outdoor activities available year-round.

Be sure to invite all your relatives, because there is plenty of space for everyone. Beavers Bend Lakeview Lodge has 40 rooms each with a million-dollar view, sits high above Broken Bow Lake. Beavers Bend Resort Park has 47 cabins located in wood groves overlooking the Mountain Fork River. The cabins can sleep from two to six people and come equipped with kitchen/dining utensils, stove, refrigerator, linens, and central heat and air. Most cabins have fireplaces.

The area offers many types of lodging, from rustic cabins to elegantly appointed log homes and affordable cabins nestled in the pines. Some of the larger ones sleep up to 20 people, making for a family-sized slumber party, shared chats over breakfast, or for telling family stories in front of the fireplace. The cabins have a range of amenities, including covered porches for watching the wildlife, hot tubs, barbecue grills, fire pits, satellite television, DVD players, and stocked fish ponds.

One of the hardest things about family reunions is making sure that everyone, no matter what their age or hobbies, has a good time. As you can see, McCurtain County has something to offer for everyone. Family members can take their picks of indoor or outdoor activities, ensuring loads of fun for everyone. After a day of enjoying all of the wildlife, scenery, and activities the area has to offer, retire to your cabin, where you can snuggle together in front of the fireplace or under a blanket beneath the emerging stars.
